Lovely single bedroom near Escola de Nàutica de Barcelona

Great place to stay in Barcelona ! Just in front of the formal Art School where Picasso studied. Really centric. The roomates are very nice and respectful. The landlord is always available for any question. The room is spacious, bright and has a lot of space for your clothes. I recommend it at 100 %

The photo of this room might be outdated. There aren't any curtains but there is the shade you can drop down. The closet has a broken door and the duvet had so many feathers coming out it was as if we had an animal without any benefits. The room is also very hot when the heat is on, so you'll have to leave the door open or turn it off after a few minutes. It's also just big enough for two people if you don't have too many things, be careful. You are also not allowed to decorate your room (no pictures on the wall no matter how you plan to hang them). The living room is spacious but the landlord made clear no friends can crash on those couches and the TV hasn't worked in at least a year. In the kitchen the oven is pretty old and makes some weird noises when you can turn it on. Sometimes the heat for the shower turns off, ask the landlord what to do if you can beforehand. The bathrooms also smell, you'll need to stay well stocked on cleaning supplies to freshen it. The apartment is one floor under the top but no rooftop access, reserved for other residents. On the plus the location is perfect, not too much street noise, and the housekeeper is very kind and consistent. I think this is a good place while you look for a more permanent location.

General rules of the house are great, this helped to enjoy the apartment more. In the room is a window, but not a lot of fresh air. I would certainly recommend buying a ventilator in case of moving in during the warm months. Nevertheless, location in combination with a huge living room made everything much more comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again. Ps. The television is a little old. If you'd want to watch a movie on it, bring a VGA cable and plug it in your laptop.
