First of all the flat looked pretty much like on the pictures, of course everything was much more smaller than in the pictures but that's what I supposed. And the location was nice. Salamanca is a beautiful neighbourhood. What you couldn't see properly on the pictures was the not so good condition of the flat. The room itself was okay but the kitchen, bathroom and living room furniture and equipment was very old and dilapidated. In the bathroom you barely have space for your things and much less if there are four persons at the same time. So actually you have to keep all your things in your room which brings me to the next problem that in your room you don't have space for anything. Not because it's too small (it's small but not too small) but because except of one small wardrobe, a very small desk, a chair, a bed and a tiny nightstand there is NOTHING. That's what I didn't like at all and what I cannot understand. When you rent out a room for that amount of money at least put some necessary things in it that everyone will need and appreciate. For example there were only two or three hangers in the wardrobe and those were leftovers from someone else which came with the clothes you buy. There was not even one peg on the wall for jackets or bags. It is not so hard to put some pegs on the back of the door. There was not one shelf!!! I really had problems to use the desk to store all my stuff for school, my laptop and to use it as a working space. It wouldn't be so hard to put one, two shelves on the wall for small things. Everyone needs that. And everyone needs a waste bin and a laundry basket. These are things which could come with the room, first to make it nicer, more comfortable and livable and second to avoid that everyone is buying it and throwing it away after the time there. The kitchen equipment which was there looked like it had been there forever, everything was very old and used and almost broken. We bought new plates, bowls and a pan because it was not usable anymore. When I rented the room furnished and for a short period of time I expected at least the necessary things also in the kitchen and not that I have to buy everything new and leave the place after to even three months. It is also impossible to use the kitchen with four persons and I don't mean to be there at the same time but that everyone has a place to put his/her things. There was also no space at all. The problem with the flat is that the tenants are changing constantly and there is never like a check of the flat, like how are the conditions, what is missing, what is broken, what is necessary. The rooms are just going from one person to the other and the rest stays the same, getting older and more disgusting. All in all for me the money didn't worth it at all. And this mostly because of small things that could have been changed easily and make things easier and nicer.
