The landlord is quite young, so it is easy to communicate with each other. Everything you ask, you get a quick reaction and he is kind to help with everything. One disadvantage is that the mailbox is managed by the landlord, so you can't check the mailbox everyday by yourself, but it is not a big problem. Also, the house has no doorbell, so you miss packages and friends if they don't call you. The studio's are basically furnished but everything is in it. Actually, the studio I got was a little bit different than the advertisement I reacted on. It was at the back of the house instead at on the front so I had no balcony's and big windows, but on the other side, in the other studio there was no big table where you can study and eat and now I do have one. Also, at the back of the house there is less noise from the street so it is all fine! The location of the studio is fine, but not in the real heart of the city centre. You have to take the metro and after that it is like 8 minutes walk to the house up the hill. The other way around, it is down the hill so 5 minutes walk to the metro and the Santa Catharina shopping street and shoppingmall. If you trust the busses, you can go just in front of the house. Traveling to the U/Porto University takes around 30-45 minutes, the supermarket is 10 minutes walk.
