Built between the peaks of El Carmel and La Rovira, La Salut neighbourhood is located right outside Vila de Gràcia. From its rural past remain two farmhouses Can Xipreret and Can Tusquets reminding a past that no longer mirrors La Salut’s reality. La Salut is best known for Park Güell. In this park, Gaudí wonderfully combines man-made and natural elements in a colourful and fun atmosphere. Not only is the park universally admired as it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. La Salut is one of the greenest areas in Barcelona, attracting many tourists to Parc de la Creueta del Coll and Parc Guell, still the neighbourhood is not as busy as the city centre.
