The district of Argüelles, located to the west of Madrid, belongs to the district of Moncloa-Caravaca. It limits to the east with Chamberí, with the Plaza of Spain to the south and with the river Manzanares to the west. It is characterized by wide green areas, where the West Park stands, which houses the famous Temple of Debod. Here you can also walk along the Rue de la Princesa and contemplate palaces like the one of the Infanta Isabel de Borbón and old convents like the one of Buen Suceso.

UNIVERSITIES

The business school ICADE, belonging to the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, is located in Argüelles (Calle Rey Francisco), ideal if you are going to live in the neighborhood, since you can get around on foot in a few minutes. The University City is located to the north of Argüelles and the metro line from the stop of the same name (line 6) lasts only 16 minutes. San Pablo CEU University is only 19 minutes by bus (C2). If you study at the Autonomous University you can go by metro from Argüelles (line 6 and then line 10) in less than 40 minutes. Also in less than 40 minutes you can travel to the Carlos III University of Getafe from Argüelles with metro line 3 to Sol and from there with the C4 line of Cercanías.

TRANSPORT

Argüelles does not have nearby train stations, but Sol is only 10 minutes on line 3 from the Argüelles stop. The main subway stops are Argüelles (lines 3, 4 and 6), Moncloa (lines 3 and 6) and Plaza de España (lines 3 and 10). Different bus lines pass through the neighborhood, such as Circles C1 and C2, for example. The G line takes the Moncloa-Ciudad Universitaria route.
