The district of Chamartín is located in the north of Madrid and is made up of six neighborhoods, which include El Viso and Castilla. It is one of the most prosperous areas of the city and where the famous Puerta de Europa Towers are located, as well as the the headquarters of several important Spanish companies. Here you will find several places of interest such as the Museum of Natural Sciences, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and the National Auditorium of Music.
UNIVERSITIES
In the southern part of the district there is the IE business school, a short distance from the Gregorio Marañón metro stop. In addition, it is a well communicated area with the main universities, which can be reached by public transport. For example, the journey to the University City (where the Complutense University and the Polytechnic University, as well as the Faculty of Education of the UNED) is less than 20 minutes by metro (line 6) from Nuevos Ministerios. Also from Nuevos Ministerios can be reached by metro (line 10) to the Autonomous University in 21 minutes and in Cercanías to the campus of Getafe de la Carlos III (28 minutes with line C4).
