El Clot is a small neighborhood in the district of San Martí, located north of the Gran Vía de las Cortes Catalanas. In an eminently residential neighborhood and very quiet to live and close to places like the iconic Agbar tower and the Glories shopping center. The nucleus is occupied by the park of the Clot, a large green area perfect for walking.
The main subway lines that serve the neighborhood are the L1 and L2, whose main stop is Clot. Other nearby stops are Navas and Glories, both on the L1 line.
In addition, there are several bus lines that stop at El Clot, such as the 62nd and 192nd, and the Clot-Aragó station has suburban train service on the R1 and R2 lines. Many young people choose to look for apartments or rooms for students in El Clot because of its proximity to some of Barcelona's universities, its good connections and its tranquil atmosphere.
From the Clot stop it takes just 14 minutes to reach the main building of the University of Barcelona and 21 minutes to the Ramon Llull University. The journey to Pompeu Fabra University takes about 27 minutes and is even convenient for the Polytechnic (45 minutes by metro).
