Westgate Shopping Centre
The Westgate Shopping Centre is located in central Oxford. Its building was designed by the the City Architect Douglas Murray and built by Taylor Woodrow. Attached to the shopping centre is a car park, including a multi-storey section, with access from Oxpens Road. They have over 35 shops and some more specialised stores. This place works with Oxford City Council and local charity Aspire to offer work experience and opportunities to the homeless, to those with past drug addictions cases or those who have been in trouble with the courts. Closed for renovation. Re-opens October 2017!
Clarendon Centre
Clarendon Centre is another shopping centre located in central Oxford linking Cornmarket Street and Queen Street. This centre was built in 1983 and was designed by Gordon Benny and Partners. Big shop names in Clarendon includes Zara, French Connection, Gap, Swarovski, and so much more.
Templars Square Shopping Centre
Templars Square Shopping Centre is located adjacent to the Templars Retail Park and is the largest enclosed shopping centre in the city of Oxford. The centre has a wide variety of retailers and has six-storey car park. Stores you will find here are for example recognizable high street names such as WHSmith, Boots, New Look, to small independent retailers, like Wheeler’s Butchers, Boutique Hair & Beauty, and Ideal Eyes.
Bury Street Shopping Centre
Bury Street Shopping Centre is located on the Abingdon area and is a great family shopping destination, offering a wide spread of shops and cafés. This place also features seasonal entertainment in the mall. When shopping here, you will come across shops like New Look, Boots, WH Smith, Pandora, Clarks and Dorothy Perkins.
Hardy's Sweet Shop
Hardy's Sweet Shop specialises in confectionaries as gift ideas and treats. They offer a wide array of sweets including the finest European liquorice, chocolates, fudges, and much more.
Alice's Shop
Alice's Shop is a famous and original shop from Alice in Wonderland items. It is one of the most famous little shops in the city that can be found in Oxford across the road from Christ Church College. To date, this is a gift shop selling gifts, souvenirs and memorabilia all based on Alice.
