This is basic 30 square meter renovated equipped apartment, with a 1 double bed bedroom, bathroom with shower a small living area with a coach and a TV Washing machine, fridge, oven, induction stove and microwave Note: this is a stairs building so no elevator - as most buildings in Alfama and in Lisbon Also it's a pedestrian street: The nearby place to drop off from a car it's Rua do Terreiro do Trigo: than it's necessary to come by foot by hilly streets and steps until you get the apartment However Alfama is a very central area, it is - not - considered here the city center, but yes it is Baixa/Chiado where it's located 10 minutes walking. The apartment has a great location near to many restaurants and bars. About 15 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket (Pingo Doce) and the Metro (Blue Line). Despite being in the center of Alfama with very busy streets, its completely quiet day and night. The flat is well equipped - we really did not need to buy anything to just move in. Communication with the landlord has been easy and the move in was without any problems. I was surprised that neither the landlord nor Uniplaces do any kind of inventory check, given that a security deposit is required. I am a very careful tenant but others may not be. I love the view of the sea and cruise ships from one window and the churches/typical Alfama views from the other windows. The apartment is light, bright and clean. The apartment is not cheap but then no accommodation in Lisbon is - I am comparing price to local salaries and not to say prices in Amsterdam, Berlin or London. Still its way cheaper than doing a mid to long term stay in Airbnb so still worth it. I would certainly recommend this apartment to others wishing to stay a longer time in Lisbon.

We spent 5 months in this beautiful place! The location is perfect, in the heart of Alfama and in a new building, the view from the window is simply amazing! The metro station and the supermarket is 10 minute walk so a little bit hard to get home with heavy bags, but there are also smaller markets near home. The apartment is new, with cozy inside and there's everything you need. It is small so it's good olny for a cuple for a long stay. The landlord is friendly and he helped us even when we closed ourself outside the apartment at night! We totally recommend it!
