Moved out in January 2022 · 20 to 29 years · PostgraduatePerfect location. Nice room with quite adequate space to move around. Only down side is the thin walls and no window. All in all it's a great pick and I really enjoyed my time there.

The room is really spacious, the door/window brings in a lot of light and the balcony is an everyday pleasure. I was able to make this room very comfortable and it was a nice home away from home. The appartment is well located, right between Saldanha and Alameda, giving easy access to the Red, Yellow and Green metro lines. Several grocery stores (smaller and bigger) can be reached in maximum 10minutes of walking which is very handy. The fact that a cleaning lady comes every week guarantees that the common areas are always clean. The building and the street are quiet. There are some points that could be improved however. The mattress is very thin, which makes it a hard bed. On my arrival, there were wood bugs under the carpets. I got rid of the carpets and used bug spray and it seemed to kind of work because I only saw a few more during my stay. One of the shared walls of the room has a door (with a blurred window) that is always closed of course but it means that sound and light from the other room go through very easily. The bathroom is functional and could easily be improved: the toilet seat should be changed or fixed, the shower curtain needs a good wash or to be replaced as well and the showerhead holder falls out of the wall.
